pixlrPhotoshop is a great photography tool. It has virtually limitless applications and many capabilities. However, it also comes at a very steep price, requires generous computing power, and is limited to a single install. Google Chrome has solved many of these issues however by allowing apps to run inside of a Chrome browser window, allowing you access to the best software on any computer with less computing power. As an added bonus, most of these apps are FREE and do not require registration or other measures to run.

One of my favorites is called Pixlr. This editor looks like photoshop, acts like photoshop, and gives you many of the same tools for FREE right in the browser window. If you are not using this today, I guarantee you will be using it all day tomorrow and will quickly rethink that Photoshop CS5 purchase.
