Fluid, Stable video for under $1400 is now possible. But it isn’t all perfect so let’s take a closer look at the DJI Ronin M with this Review to see if this Gimbal Stabilizer is the tool you need. While DJI has previous experience with the original Ronin, the Ronin M is very much a new product with several innovative design elements bringing light weight and cost savings to a growing market segment. But it's not quite a home run

Check out a full review of the LG G4 + an in-depth look at the unbelievable camera. We take a look at RAW performance, manual options, low light tests, and the overall phone because...I guess it is still a phone. There is no debating that this is probably the best camera in any phone on the market today. But do you really need RAW images and other options? Lets put the LG G4 to the test and find out.
For those of you who like Profoto gear (and who doesn't) or just like checking out the amazing images and tutorials of photographers who do use their gear, B&H has a special page dedicated to the amazing work completed with Profoto. This is a bit unexpected...Sigma has announced a new 24-35mm f2 zoom lens featuring similar optical performance to the Sigma 35mm f1.4 which I reviewed previously and was (still am) a big fan of. While the Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 (also reviewed) offered an amazing range with a wide aperture, it was still limited to APS-C cameras. However, Sigma's new 24-35mm f2 lens will now work on full frame cameras!
We should expect availability in the next 6 weeks for Canon cameras with Nikon & Sony usually following later. The price has not yet been announced but expect it to be higher than the $799 price tag on the 18-35mm. Unfortunately I find the new 24-35mm to be decidedly less useful. While Sigma touts the ability to replace both 24mm and 35mm prime lenses, the slower aperture will certainly be missed. Unless the price is low, I would likely prefer having the f1.4 apertures on the 24 and 35mm lenses than the convenience of a free spot in my bag.

The absolutely amazing (at least on the spec sheet) Sony A7R II is now available for your wallets. While slightly more expensive at $3198 for the body, the A7R II offers 4k internal recording with a 42MP backside illuminated sensor with an ISO range up to 100,000. In addition to that crazy sensor, the A7R II boasts in camera 5 axis stabilization 399 phase detection autofocus points and 5fps shooting.
Drooling yet? Me too. And for the video lovers among us, Sony isn't leaving out anything (take note Canon) and all the A7s features such as Log recording, 4k internal, and 1080p at up to 120fps are present.

Sigma has just announced a new 24mm f1.4 lens available in Canon, Nikon, Sony, and Sigma mounts with availability starting in mid march. As someone who use and love both Sigma's 35mm f1.4 and 50mm f1.4 lenses I am very excited about this new model. Previous Art lenses from Sigma have set a new standard for build quality, sharpness, focus speed, and have compared favorably or better to the best Canon & Nikon lenses. The new Sigma 24mm f1.4 is also priced at $849 which is less than half the price of the Canon and Nikon competition. Expect this lens to be extremely popular and likely sold out for months to come.
